Sustainable Pasture-Raised Eggs

We are always on a mission to build partnerships with sustainable farms and eco-minded sources. In our commitment to this mission, we recently partnered with Locally Laid Egg Company through Upper Lakes Foods (our small, family-owned and operated restaurant supplier with a sustainable focus).

Locally Laid Egg Company (LoLa) in Wrenshall, Minnesota is dedicated to the health and well-being of their chickens and the land. Their pasture-raised hens forage and roam at 8 partnering, small farms in the Midwest. The birds spend time outside getting exercise, fresh air, and a varied diet of bugs and seeds (MPR News)

In addition to their focus on healthy birds to produce high-quality, sustainable eggs, LoLa has a low-carbon footprint with an eco-conscience. The company won a LABO Environmentally Engaged Entrepreneur Award and engages in sustainable practices such as solar power, feeding with non-GMO corn, and planting a tree for every delivery & t-shirt sale (LoLa Facebook Page).

We are proud to work with sustainable farms and environmental partners to further support local economy and a healthier planet!
