Artist Series - Gabe, William, and Joe of The Watershed Cafe

The Watershed Cafe proudly features artwork by three talented staff members of The Watershed Cafe: Gabe Lee, William Reiter, and Joseph Fiedler! Each has his own individual style, and the character of each person is reflected through his artistic technique.

As a front-of-the-house crew member, Gabe Lee is one of the first people you will meet at The Watershed Cafe. With his friendly smile and quick wit, he easily brightens everyone’s day. As an artist, Gabe’s personality is reflected in his whimsical, thought-provoking designs.

In his description of his work, Gabe states simply:“Creates using ink, graphite, and acrylic. Do art, have fun.”

With his genuine warmth and kind disposition, William Reiter (known to many as Will) provides outstanding customer service for our guests as a front-of-the-house crew member. Will has a natural talent for photography: his stunning portraits capture the heart and soul of each individual.

In his artist bio, Will states: “William Hawk Reiter is a self-taught photographer from Osceola, Wisconsin. William is passionate about many things. More-so than anything else, he is passionate about photography, mother earth, and equal rights….”

Joe Fiedler, a vital member of our kitchen crew, is also an incredible artist with the ability to craft beautiful work using a variety of mediums. In this exhibit, Joe displays his artistic skill through drawing, specifically focusing on faces.

About his work, Joe states: “As humans, we recognize a face instantly. We tend to search for ourselves in the expression of others, trying to find a connection between us. In spite of our search for connection, the minutest difference can change our perception drastically, based on our opinions and ideologies. I’m trying to find the line that divides us from abstraction.”

We hope you will come in and enjoy this collaborative exhibit! We are so proud of all of our staff members, and we are grateful to have such a wonderful crew! To Joe, Gabe, and William: Thank you for sharing your art with us!
